Handcrafted glass and metal art, created entirely by hand in our Nevada studio.

BentGlassNevada began in the early 2000s with a few stained glass classes and quickly grew into a lifelong pursuit of working with glass in all its forms. What started with traditional stained glass — ornaments, windows, and commissioned pieces — evolved when heat entered the process. Kilns, torches, and molten glass opened the door to warm glass and sculptural work, shaping the direction of our studio today.

Every piece we create is built from raw materials, crafted start to finish in our shop. There are no molds, no mass production, and no shortcuts — only time, heat, and handwork.

Our Process

Our work combines art glass and metal fabrication, drawing from decades of hands-on experience.

Glass elements are hand cut, formed, and kiln-fused, while supporting structures are forged, welded, and fabricated in-house. Many pieces require multiple days to complete, allowing for firing, assembly, curing, and finishing before they are ready to leave the studio.

This approach allows us to create work that is both visually expressive and structurally durable, designed to live comfortably indoors or outdoors.

What We Create

BentGlassNevada’s work spans a wide range of glass and metal disciplines, including:

  • Stained glass

  • Warm glass and kiln-fused work

  • Torch work

  • Sculptural glass garden art

  • Forged and fabricated metal forms

  • Metal and wood structures designed to support glass

In addition to glass-orientated pieces, we also create stand-alone forged and fabricated metal objects.

A Note on Our Archive

Much of our early photographic archive was lost in a forest fire several years ago. As we recover images from older web sources and personal collections, we plan to add an archive page to share past works and commissioned projects.

Handmade, Always

BentGlassNevada is a small, independent studio. Every piece is made by hand, one at a time, with close attention to materials, structure, and finish. The natural variations that come from this process are not flaws — they are part of what makes each piece unique.
